The Mitchells vs. the Machines
ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamilySci-Fi114 min
The Mitchells’ cross-country road trip is cut short when a robot uprising throws the world into chaos, leaving one offbeat family as humanity’s accidental last line of defense. Abbi Jacobson is Katie Mitchell, the daughter caught between family tensions and a full-scale machine takeover, while Danny McBride and Maya Rudolph voice the parents trying to keep the trip — and everyone else — from falling apart. As the machines close in, the film bounces between household squabbles, tech-gone-wrong mayhem, and a scramble across America to stop the collapse.
