Harry Melling is Colin, a timid gay man whose life tilts when Ray, an enigmatic biker brought to the screen by Alexander Skarsgård, sweeps him into a BDSM relationship built on submission, control, and intense attraction. As Colin is drawn deeper into Ray’s world, the film stays close to his uncertainty as much as his desire, following the awkward negotiations and emotional shifts that come with giving himself over to someone he barely understands. Romance, comedy, and drama meet in a relationship defined as much by power as by intimacy.
