Pia is a London photographer with a struggling studio, a looming family wedding, and a mother who wants her coupled up as soon as possible. Simone Ashley is Pia, whose plans get even messier when a spiritual guru predicts she’ll meet the love of her life within her next five dates. As her sister Sonal’s wedding approaches, Sindhu Vee’s Laxmi throws herself into matchmaking, and Pia’s ex reenters the picture at exactly the wrong moment. The story threads British-Asian family pressure, wedding bustle, and a string of increasingly complicated dates through Pia’s search for something more stable than her current chaos.
