I Swear
ComedyDrama121 min
Diagnosed with Tourette syndrome at 15, John Davidson comes of age in 1980s Britain under constant misunderstanding, trying to move through school, work, friendship, and early adulthood while his condition turns ordinary moments into public ones. Robert Aramayo is John as a young man, with Scott Ellis Watson taking on his troubled teenage years. Peter Mullan, Maxine Peake, and Shirley Henderson figure among the people who shape his path, as the film follows the setbacks, humiliations, and unexpected kindnesses that help him find direction and a place for himself.
