Joe Kidd
DramaWestern88 min
Clint Eastwood is Joe Kidd, a former bounty hunter pulled into a New Mexico land fight after Mexican settlers see their U.S. claims denied and the records destroyed in a courthouse fire. As Louis Chama (John Saxon) pushes the dispossessed group toward armed resistance, Robert Duvall’s wealthy landowner recruits Kidd and a band of gunmen to hunt him down. The standoff pits land claims, private money, and frontier justice against each other, with Kidd moving through the middle as a hired man whose loyalties don’t sit neatly with either side.
