The Outlaw Josey Wales

DramaWestern135 min

After Union men murder his family in the final days of the Civil War, Missouri farmer Josey Wales becomes a hunted outlaw, riding on with soldiers and bounty hunters close behind. Clint Eastwood is Wales, a man bent on revenge who keeps trying to travel alone, only to find a loose band of strangers attaching themselves to him. Chief Dan George and Sondra Locke are among the outcasts who turn his flight into an uneasy company, forcing Wales to protect people he never asked to lead. Eastwood also directs this Western’s mix of hard pursuit, frontier violence, and dry humor.
