A Walk in the Clouds
DramaRomance103 min
Just after World War II, Keanu Reeves is Paul Sutton, a traveling salesman and returning veteran whose chance meeting with a pregnant, unmarried woman pulls him into a risky arrangement. Aitana Sánchez-Gijón’s Victoria asks Paul to pose as her husband for one night so she can face her family at their vineyard without scandal. What begins as a cover story takes them into a large, tradition-bound household, where Anthony Quinn’s patriarch and Giancarlo Giannini’s stern father shape the world Victoria has come home to. Among the harvest, family expectations, and a borrowed marriage, the boundaries between obligation and attraction begin to shift.
