The Search for One-eye Jimmy

Comedy85 min

In a scruffy New York neighborhood, a small-time search turns into a comic civic event when One-eye Jimmy goes missing. Friends, relatives, drifters, and self-appointed experts flood the streets with theories, bad leads, and personal agendas, each account making Jimmy harder to pin down. The hunt sprawls from bars and stoops to backrooms and side streets, building a portrait of a community that can talk endlessly without getting any closer to the truth. As more locals insert themselves into the mystery, the film treats the search like a documentary record of confusion, gossip, and neighborhood mythology. Sam Henry Kass writes and directs this mock-serious scramble.
