Years after their first body-swap disaster, Tess and Anna Coleman are dealing with a new family shuffle: Anna has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter, and the effort to blend two households brings back a very familiar kind of chaos. Jamie Lee Curtis is Tess again, with Lindsay Lohan returning as Anna as mother and daughter face another identity crisis. The story widens the mix beyond the original mother-daughter setup, adding a younger generation to the comedy as one family tries to sort out parenting, clashing personalities, and life together.
