ActionAdventureDramaFamilyFantasyMusicalRomance138 min
As Oz turns on Elphaba, Cynthia Erivo’s exiled outsider is branded the Wicked Witch, while Ariana Grande’s Glinda becomes the polished public face of goodness in Emerald City. With the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum) shaping public fear and Madame Morrible guiding Glinda’s rise, the former friends find themselves on opposite sides of a widening crisis. Their bond remains at the center as Elphaba hides in the forest, Glinda moves through palace spectacle and public adoration, and the pressure building across Oz pushes them toward a final attempt to face each other honestly.
