After uncovering a nest of homicidal monsters inside a tower of the Golden Gate Bridge, a group of San Francisco teenagers tries to warn the city, only to find that no one believes them. Leilani Sarelle is among the friends who realize the killings aren’t random, while Clyde Hayes joins the scramble to make adults listen before the creatures move beyond the bridge. Rooted in 1980s San Francisco and built around a bizarre urban-monster premise, the film turns one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks into the hiding place for a band of night-stalking killers.
