Story of a Prostitute
DramaRomanceWar96 min
On a bleak wartime front, a woman is sent to work in a brothel serving soldiers, where survival means navigating humiliation, jealousy, and the military’s strict control over every part of daily life. She becomes fixated on one young private, and what begins as a desperate attachment turns into a dangerous bond neither of them can safely claim. As rumors spread and rank closes in around them, their meetings pull them deeper into conflict with the men who profit from the camp and the rules that keep everyone trapped. Seijun Suzuki sets the love story inside a system built on violence, where intimacy itself becomes a risk.
