Mad Love
DramaRomance252 min
A troubled marriage starts to fracture as a husband and wife become deeply involved in a staging of Racine’s Andromaque, letting rehearsals spill into their life together. Bulle Ogier and Jean-Pierre Kalfon are the couple at the center, moving between domestic arguments and the tense space of the theater. In French and rooted in late-1960s art-house experimentation, the film follows love, work, and performance as the boundaries between private life and the stage begin to blur around a production that exposes the strain already inside the relationship.
