Disciples of Shaolin

The story

Sheng Fu is a penniless young man from the countryside who heads to the city and quickly turns his fighting skills into a paycheck. Hired as an enforcer for a textile factory under pressure from a rival mill, he gets pulled into a local power struggle where business disputes are settled with fists. Around him, Kuan-Chun Chi and the larger ensemble fill out the competing camps of workers, fighters, and factory interests. Directed by Chang Cheh, the film folds Shaolin martial arts into a story about money, status, and survival inside a bruising industrial feud.
