In Edinburgh, detective Ray Lennox is pulled into the search for a missing schoolgirl, a case that quickly turns from routine inquiry to something darker. As he follows leads through the city’s clubs, streets, and fractured families, the investigation keeps colliding with his own damaged state of mind. Old trauma and buried memories blur the line between what Lennox sees, suspects, and fears, even as time runs out for the girl. Dougray Scott anchors a story that moves between police work and psychological breakdown, with each new clue tightening the pressure on a detective who is no longer sure he can trust himself.
