Vigil

CrimeDramaMysteryThriller58 min per episode

When a Scottish fishing trawler disappears and a sailor dies aboard HMS Vigil, the investigation splits between a murder inquiry and a national security crisis. Suranne Jones is DCI Amy Silva, sent onto the Royal Navy’s ballistic missile submarine to examine a death the crew wants contained, while Rose Leslie’s DS Kirsten Longacre works the case on land. As the two follow different leads, the police find themselves pushing against the Navy and British security services. Much of the action unfolds between the submarine’s sealed corridors and the Scottish mainland, with the case widening beyond a single suspicious death.
