Clannad

The story

At a Japanese high school, a withdrawn student named Tomoya drifts through his days until he meets Nagisa Furukawa, a girl trying to return to school after illness and revive the drama club. As he starts helping her, their routine fills with classmates carrying their own worries, family strains, and private losses. Small acts of support begin to matter: joining the club, repairing broken ties at home, and making room for a future that once seemed out of reach. But the closer Tomoya and Nagisa grow, the more the story turns on the weight each of them carries, and on whether connection can hold when grief and uncertainty press in.
