Children of Heaven

DramaFamily89 min

After he loses his little sister’s shoes, Ali keeps the mistake from their parents and convinces Zahra that they can share his single pair between her morning classes and his afternoon school. Amir Farrokh Hashemian is Ali, a boy whose guilt turns each day into a careful relay, while Bahare Seddiqi’s Zahra meets the plan with patience and urgency of her own. As the children race between classrooms and home, their family’s money troubles sit in the background, with Reza Naji as a father already stretched by rent and work. In Persian, the story stays close to the practical stakes of one lost pair of shoes.
