ComedyDramaFamilySci-Fi23 min per episode
Paul Fusco's ALF, nicknamed for “Alien Life Form,” is Gordon Shumway, a furry extraterrestrial from Melmac who crash-lands in the Tanner family's garage and winds up hidden in their home. Max Wright and Anne Schedeen are the adults trying to keep their unexpected houseguest secret while his appetite, schemes, and nonstop wisecracks keep throwing the household off balance. Between close calls with neighbors and ALF's longing for his lost planet, the show mixes domestic sitcom chaos with an outer-space visitor who never quite learns how Earth families work.
