The Four Seasons

ComedyDramaRomance107 min

Three middle-aged New York couples keep a tradition of vacationing together through spring, summer, autumn, and winter, but the routine starts to splinter as divorce, marital strain, and family problems surface. Alan Alda is one of the longtime friends at the center of the group, and Carol Burnett joins the ensemble as the annual trips become less comfortable and more revealing. Written and directed by Alda, the film follows the shifting alliances, awkward dinners, and private disappointments that emerge when people who know each other too well are suddenly forced to see one another differently.
