The Oslo Diaries

Documentary97 min

As official contact between Israelis and Palestinians breaks down in the early 1990s, a small group from both sides gathers in Oslo for secret, unsanctioned peace talks. Through diary excerpts, archival footage, and interviews with key participants, the documentary reconstructs the private negotiations behind the Oslo process. Shimon Peres and Hanan Ashrawi are among the figures looking back on the meetings, while Yasser Arafat and Yitzhak Rabin loom over the talks from the larger political stage. The focus stays close to what happened in the room: cautious first contact, competing agendas, and the fragile effort to keep a conversation going at all.
