At Camp Hope, Gerry Garner arrives expecting a summer retreat where overweight boys can relax, make friends, and escape the usual scrutiny. That changes when fitness guru Tony Perkis (Ben Stiller) buys the camp and replaces its easygoing atmosphere with a strict weight-loss regimen built on drills, rules, and humiliation. Aaron Schwartz is Gerry, one of the campers caught between the camp’s original spirit and Tony’s obsession with control as the boys begin pushing back against the new order. The story stays close to the campers’ friendships while turning the camp itself into a battleground.
