Minnie and Moskowitz
ComedyDramaRomance115 min
After a bruising split from her married boyfriend, museum curator Minnie Moore starts wondering whether love has passed her by. Gena Rowlands is Minnie, a newly 40 divorcee whose life has narrowed into disappointment and bad dates. Then a disastrous blind date leaves her face to face with Seymour Moskowitz, a shaggy parking-lot attendant; Seymour Cassel gives him the nerve to step in, defend her, and decide almost immediately that she’s the woman he wants. As Minnie reluctantly agrees to see him again, their awkward courtship turns on the gap between her guarded reserve and his unruly optimism.
