The Wedding Planner
ComedyRomance103 min
San Francisco wedding planner Mary Fiore keeps other people’s big days running on schedule, until a chance rescue throws her into the path of Steve Edison, a pediatrician who looks like the answer to her own stalled love life. Jennifer Lopez is Mary, balancing clipped professionalism with growing romantic confusion; Matthew McConaughey’s Steve turns out to be the fiancé of her newest client, played by Bridgette Wilson-Sampras. As Mary juggles venues, family expectations, and an increasingly awkward run of encounters with the groom, the polished order of her work life collides with the messier parts of her own.
