Howard Silk is a low-level employee at a Berlin agency who learns his office sits on top of a secret that split the world in two. On the other side is another Howard, played by J.K. Simmons as a harder, more dangerous version of the same man, and a cold conflict between the parallel worlds is starting to turn hot. As spies cross between realities, Howard is pulled into assassinations, surveillance, and a search for who can be trusted. The series follows two nearly identical lives diverging under pressure, while a hidden war forces both men to confront what their other self is willing to do.
