After a meteor slams into a houseboat in the swamps outside a southern town, the people aboard return as zombies whose appetite starts with alligators and turns toward the locals. As townspeople begin disappearing, a scientist tries to work out what’s happening in the marsh. Buster Crabbe is part of the scramble on the ground, with Linda Lewis among the residents caught up in the outbreak. Houseboats, backwoods terrain, and undead attacks shape a story that blends swamp horror with an oddball sci-fi setup.
