The King of Jokgu
ComedyDrama104 min
When Man-seob returns to college after finishing military service, he throws himself into an unlikely plan: rebuild the school’s jokgu team and use the sport to get closer to Anna. Ahn Jae-hong is the earnest ex-soldier at the center of the scramble, with Jae-Hyun Choi among the classmates caught up in his campaign. Built around jokgu — a Korean game that mixes soccer and volleyball — the film keeps its focus on campus rivalries, improvised teamwork, and Man-seob’s determined, slightly offbeat pursuit of both victory and romance.
