Derek
ComedyDrama24 min per episode
Ricky Gervais is Derek, a devoted caretaker at an English nursing home whose kindness shapes the way he sees the residents and the offbeat people around him. Shot in a mockumentary style, the series stays close to the daily life of the home as staff deal with tight budgets, outside prejudice, and the practical work of caring for an elderly community. Kerry Godliman and David Earl are part of Derek’s small circle, alongside a wider group of workers and residents whose routines, tensions, and moments of connection give the show its focus.
