Two years after a Super Bowl win, suspended New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton heads back to his hometown and tries to reconnect with his 12-year-old son by coaching the boy’s Pop Warner football team. Kevin James is Payton, traded from the NFL sideline for youth practices, awkward father-son conversations, and a roster of kids still figuring out the game. Tait Blum appears opposite him as the son who’s not immediately won over by having a famous coach — and absent dad — suddenly on the field. Taylor Lautner and Rob Schneider round out the adults orbiting the team as Payton adjusts to a very different kind of locker room.
