American Underdog
DramaFamilyRomance112 min
Before he was an NFL MVP and Super Bowl-winning quarterback, Kurt Warner was a grocery-store stockboy trying to keep an unlikely football career alive. Zachary Levi is Warner, charting the years when injuries, setbacks, and long odds kept the NFL out of reach. At home, Anna Paquin’s Brenda stands beside him as family life and football ambitions pull in the same direction. Dennis Quaid appears as coach Dick Vermeil as the film traces Warner’s rise from obscurity toward the league that would make him one of its most recognizable quarterbacks.
