In 1999, cheerleader Stephanie Conway is on track for the high school milestone she wants most: prom queen. A stunt gone wrong puts her in a coma, and when she wakes up at 37, she decides to return to campus, finish senior year, and pick up that plan where she left off. Rebel Wilson is the adult Stephanie, with Angourie Rice as her teenage counterpart, as the film jumps from turn-of-the-millennium popularity politics to a very different modern school culture. Mary Holland and Sam Richardson are among the adults pulled into Stephanie’s attempt to reclaim an unfinished chapter.
