Ex-cop Nick Cassidy steps onto the ledge of a Manhattan hotel and threatens to jump, drawing crowds, cameras, and a tense NYPD standoff. Sam Worthington is the fugitive at the center of it, while Elizabeth Banks is the police psychologist sent in to talk him down and figure out what he wants. What the officers below don’t know is that the apparent suicide attempt is cover for a diamond heist, with Nick using the spectacle to distract from a separate operation involving his brother and a powerful businessman. Ed Harris appears as the tycoon tied to the case Nick is trying to crack open.
