After a car accident in Berlin leaves him in a coma, Dr. Martin Harris wakes to find that another man has taken his name, his credentials, and even his place beside his wife. Liam Neeson is Harris, a shaken academic trying to piece together what happened while no one around him believes his story. With help from a taxi driver (Diane Kruger) who was there the night of the crash, he moves through hospitals, hotels, and city streets under pressure from skeptical authorities and men who seem intent on stopping him before he can prove who he is.
