Drama115 min

Juan (Adolfo Jiménez Castro) moves his urban family to the Mexican countryside, hoping for an ideal life away from the city. Instead, the household grows unsettled, and the divide between comfort and labor, family closeness and domestic strain, starts to narrow. Alongside him, Nathalia Acevedo forms the other half of the couple at the film’s center as the story drifts through rural Mexico, with brief passages in Europe and moments that turn strange without warning. It keeps circling two worlds that seem to exist side by side while threatening to cancel each other out.
