It Happened in Hollywood
ComedyDramaRomance67 min
In Hollywood as talkies take over, a once-bankable silent Western star watches the business move on without him. Richard Dix is the cowboy hero whose fame suddenly belongs to another era, while Fay Wray is the actress who had shared his saddle-bound adventures and now finds her career rising with sound pictures. Romance and industry satire run through a story about studio-era upheaval, with movie sets, B-Western trappings, and the awkward shift from silent-screen bravado to microphones, dialogue, and a new kind of stardom.
