The Bear
ActionAdventureDramaFamily97 min
After a rockslide leaves a bear cub alone in the wilds of British Columbia, it attaches itself to a solitary adult Kodiak as hunters close in behind them. The story stays largely with the cub, following its search for food, safety, and a place beside the older bear. Bart the Bear is the massive male the cub trails through forests and rivers, while Tcheky Karyo and Jack Wallace are two trophy hunters moving through the same terrain with rifles and dogs. Told from the animals’ side of the chase, the film keeps its focus on survival in an unforgiving wilderness.
