The Mighty Boosh
AdventureComedyDramaFantasyMusical30 min per episode
Howard Moon and Vince Noir drift through bizarre adventures, hopping between odd jobs, time-and-space detours, and encounters with a parade of unsettling or ridiculous characters. Julian Barratt’s Howard is a jazz-obsessed striver forever trying to sound sophisticated; Noel Fielding is Vince, his fashion-fixated counterpart with a glam streak and a habit of pulling the pair deeper into chaos. The show folds British pop-culture jokes into comic fantasy, with episodes breaking into elaborate numbers that swing from electro and heavy metal to funk and rap. Short a cappella “crimping” songs turn up throughout, alongside handmade-looking creatures, painted backdrops, and a deliberately off-kilter world.
