After neighborhood menace Deebo breaks out of prison with a grudge, Craig Jones leaves South Central Los Angeles for Rancho Cucamonga, where his lottery-winning uncle and cousin hope the suburbs will keep him out of trouble. Ice Cube is Craig, lying low in a new neighborhood that quickly comes with its own problems. Mike Epps' Day-Day adds another source of chaos as family tensions, local run-ins, and the Joker brothers make Craig's temporary escape anything but quiet. John Witherspoon also returns as Craig's sharp-tongued father, keeping the family back-and-forth close to the center.
