Weekend at Bernie's
ActionAdventureComedyCrime97 min
Two junior insurance employees head to their boss’s Long Island beach house expecting a reward trip and instead find themselves stuck with his corpse. Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman are the office underlings who decide the only way out is to keep Bernie looking alive, even as party guests drift through the house and a hitman tries to track him down. What begins with suspicious activity at the office quickly becomes a farce of dragged limbs, bad improvisation, and increasingly elaborate attempts to puppet a dead man through an entire weekend.
