Called back to work in the smog-choked Los Angeles of 2019, former blade runner Rick Deckard is assigned to hunt four escaped replicants — synthetic humans who have returned to Earth in search of their creator and more life. Harrison Ford is Deckard, moving through Ridley Scott’s rain-soaked future of neon streets, corporate power, and constant surveillance. As the case draws him toward Sean Young’s Rachael and Rutger Hauer’s Roy Batty, the line Deckard is paid to enforce between human and machine starts to blur.
