Alien

HorrorSci-Fi117 min

On the commercial spaceship Nostromo, a routine trip back to Earth is interrupted by a distress signal from a distant planet. After a landing party finds a chamber filled with strange eggs, one crew member returns with an alien organism attached to him. Sigourney Weaver is Ripley, the ship’s warrant officer, who warns that quarantine protocol is being ignored; Tom Skerritt is among the officers forced to deal with the consequences once the life form is aboard. Ridley Scott stages the story inside a grimy working vessel of narrow corridors, engine noise, and sealed doors, where the crew are cut off with something they barely understand.
