CrimeDramaThriller115 min
Working-class waitress Slim thinks she’s found security with charming contractor Mitch, but marriage and a new baby expose a violent, controlling side she didn’t see coming. Jennifer Lopez is Slim, who flees with her young daughter after the life she built turns dangerous. Billy Campbell’s Mitch refuses to let them go, using money, connections, and hired help to keep tracking his family. As Slim moves from hiding place to hiding place, the film stays close to the mechanics of abuse: surveillance, intimidation, and the fear of being found.
