Jen thinks she’s settled into ordinary married life when her husband’s secret career crashes through the front door. Katherine Heigl’s Jen married fast after meeting a charming stranger on vacation; Ashton Kutcher is Spencer, an elite assassin who gave up killing to build a life with her. That plan falls apart when someone from his past puts a contract on his head, turning their home life into a scramble for answers and survival. The movie threads newlywed comedy through gunfire and espionage as Jen learns just how much of Spencer’s past followed him into the marriage.
