The Gold
CrimeDrama58 min per episode
After the 1983 Brink’s-Mat robbery, a gang expecting cash stumbles onto a fortune in stolen gold bullion, and the crime quickly grows far beyond the warehouse raid itself. As the bullion is moved, melted down, and fed into legitimate markets, police and customs officers try to trace money that keeps changing hands and shape. The hunt spreads from the original thieves to the brokers, businessmen, and fixers who see a chance to profit before the trail closes. With Hugh Bonneville and Dominic Cooper among the ensemble, the series follows both the investigation and the criminal network as one robbery opens into a far larger web of corruption.
