ComedyDramaRomance25 min per episode
Stand-up comic Mae Martin is Mae, a recovering addict whose new relationship quickly gets tangled up with the same obsessive habits and intense romanticism that shape the rest of their life. As Mae tries to stay sober, Charlotte Ritchie’s George becomes the center of an all-consuming romance that starts to mirror the cravings and compulsions Mae is trying to manage. The series draws on Martin’s own life, moving between comedy sets, awkward conversations, and the daily negotiations of intimacy, dependence, and being honest about who you are.
