In France, a group of former intelligence and military operatives is assembled for a simple-sounding job: steal a heavily guarded briefcase for a shadowy employer. Sam, an American mercenary played by Robert De Niro, joins a team of specialists who barely know one another and trust each other even less. As they plan the grab, every exchange feels like a test, and the job keeps slipping out of their control. Double-crosses, surveillance, and hidden agendas turn the mission into a chase across Paris and Nice, with the team scrambling to figure out who is using whom. Jean Reno co-stars as a French operative whose alliance with Sam becomes central as the pressure closes in.
