The Negotiator

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaMysteryThriller140 min

When Chicago hostage negotiator Danny Roman is accused of murdering his partner, he turns a police standoff inside out: convinced Internal Affairs is hiding proof of a wider corruption scheme, he seizes the office and demands an outside negotiator. Samuel L. Jackson is Roman, a cop using the same tactics he once trusted from the other side of the phone, while Kevin Spacey’s Chris Sabian becomes the only person he’ll talk to. With detectives, commanders, and hostages trapped in the middle, the siege keeps shifting between police procedure, political pressure, and a duel between two men who know every move in the playbook.
