All Through the Night

ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaThrillerWar107 min

In wartime New York, Broadway gambler Gloves Donahue (Humphrey Bogart) goes looking for answers after a friend’s murder and runs straight into a Nazi spy ring. As Donahue and his underworld pals start poking around the city’s nightclubs and back rooms, they cross paths with a singer (Kaaren Verne) being forced into the scheme and uncover a sabotage plot aimed at an American battleship. The film folds Bogart’s streetwise tough-guy persona into a mix of gangsters, espionage, and wartime intrigue unfolding just off Broadway.
