After a night out leaves Minal Arora and her two roommates facing harassment, threats, and a criminal case, their attempt to report molestation by a politician’s nephew turns into a courtroom battle. Taapsee Pannu’s Minal is suddenly the one under scrutiny, while the people around her pick apart her character instead of the assault. Living nearby is Deepak Sehgal, a reclusive former lawyer; Amitabh Bachchan is the aging advocate who steps in when the case is rigged against them. Set in South Delhi, the film follows three working women as questions of power, class, and consent move from private fear into public trial.
