Legendary dhampir D is hired to track down Charlotte Elbourne, a young woman apparently abducted by the vampire nobleman Meier Link, but the assignment quickly becomes a race against a ragged crew of rival bounty hunters. As D closes in, the pursuit keeps blurring the line between rescue and pursuit, with Charlotte and Meier crossing a landscape of ruined grandeur, monsters, and violence. The English-language cast includes Andrew Philpot and Pamela Adlon, grounding a gothic sci-fi world where aristocratic vampires, wandering mercenaries, and supernatural threats all collide.
